Neva Release Date Announced

One of our more anticipated indie games of the year and probably our top announcement from the Nintendo Indie World Showcase is the release date announcement of Neva. If you’re unfamiliar, Neva is the new adventure from Nomada Studio, the team behind the critically acclaimed Gris. Publishing is also being handled by Devolver Digital, who rarely back a bad game.

Neva is a tale about a young woman, Alba and her lifelong bond with a wolf. This bond is forged following a traumatic encounter with dark forces and over time, the wolf will grow and mature. Alba’s journey will take them through a decaying and dangerous world. Unlike Gris, Neva will feature some light combat featuring both your sword and your sidekick against the evils of this meticulously designed world that features delicate art, detailed animations and a haunting original score.

Neva is launching October 15 on pretty much everything including PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5. and Xbox X|S.
