The Plucky Squire Release Date Announced

One of our most anticipated game of 2023 is still one of our most anticipated games of 2024 and we finally have a release date for The Plucky Squire.

All Possible Futures will release their debut game about Jot, the main character in a fairy tale who learns how to explore the world in both 2D and 3D.

The gameplay of The Plucky Squires sees your adventure jump between dimensions while featuring a lot of nods to classic gaming including the obvious Zelda inspiration, but also games like Punch Out! and Contra. On your journey, you’ll find allies, unlock and upgrade new moves, find collectibles and most importantly, defeat the evil wizard Hump Grump.

What’s most intriguing about The Plucky Squire is how it looks to capture that magical Nintendo essence, which might due to the experience from the studio co founder. James Turner was previously one of the Art Directors at Game Freak, the studio behind Pokemon and just happened to be the first person born outside of Japan to be in that role and to officially design Pokemon.

Plucky Squire will release on September 17th and will also be available to subscribers of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost.
