When is Cult of The Lamb coming out?

Its simple: To stand out a become something special you need to do something special, even in over saturated markets like rogue-likes. Hades had amazing combat but it also brought an excellent narrative. It wasn’t just about getting farther but it was about learning the next piece of the story.

What Massive Monster appears to be doing with Cult of the Lamb is blending genres with perfection. Obviously, its a rogue lite, but its also a dungeon crawler and a base builder. As the full saying goes “a lamb of all trades is a cult leader of none but often times better than a cult leader of one” This is exactly what appears to be happening with Cult of the Lamb as the blending of the genres appears to be sublime.

Devolver Digital is known for curating a certain type of indie game and the even better news is that everyone will be able to enjoy the game. Cult of the Lamb will be on almost every system available including the Nintendo Switch.

In an interview with Game Informer, the creative director said that development has taken almost three years and in the most recent trailer, the release timing changed from 2022 to soon, which leads me to think that its release is imminent. Over the past three years Nintendo have had an Indie World Direct in Spring with the latest date being early May and a game like Cult of The Lamb would be a crown jewel for the presentation. One can hope.
