NPD Video Game Report - February 2022

Here are the top ten games for the month of February according to the NPD group.

10 - Minecraft continues to sell well on every single platform and Microsoft is loving every minute of it.

9 - In a year with the World Cup, expect FIFA to constantly be near the top of the charts.

8 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the easiest choices when picking up a new Switch and 43.35 million sales so far there is a reason its always here.

7 - The Super Bowl took place in February so no surprise to see Madden get a spike in sales.

6 - Despite many fans displeasure with Vanguard, it was the best selling game of 2021, and its still in the top ten.

5 - Total War: Warhammer 3 shows impressive sales for a PC only Turn Based Tactics game.

4 -Dying Light 2 Released at the start of the month to average reviews, this shows that people are just hungry for new content early in the year.

3 - Even without digital sales included, Pokemon Legends: Arceus only drops to third after being the best selling game of January.

2 - PlayStation exclusive Horizon Forbidden West comes in as the second best selling game of the month.

1 - With over 12 million copies sold in just a little over two weeks, Elden Ring also is now the highest selling YTD
