Will Silksong Appear at the Nintendo Direct in February 2023

Recently, we looked at the Hollow Knight Anniversary which takes place on February 24, 2017. We are currently under the impression that Silksong is due out by June 2023, thanks to Microsoft stating this multiple times since their Xbox and Bethesda Summer Showcase 2022. This means that the months are limited for Silksong to make an appearance.

We now have news of a full Nintnedo Direct happening on February 8, 2023 that will feature 40 minutes of games coming to the Nintnedo Switch in the first half of 2023, which is when Silksong is due out. Finally, the first time Silksong was announced was by Nintendo back on February 13, 2019. As you can see Team Cherry clearly has ties to the month of February and everything is lining up for some type of showing from Silksong and hopefully a release date.

The other game that seems likely to show up at the Nintendo Direct is Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp. Information about retailers receiving promotional material for Advance Wars that states the title is available now and not to post material until February 10th. This makes sense as Nintendo initially delayed the game due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and with no end in sight for the conflict, Nintendo would likely want to release the game with minimal promotion just to get it out the door.
